I am a Counsellor/Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor with over 14 years of experience working with adults and children, individually, in couples and family groups.

I have worked in various settings; A Mental Health Team, GP Practice group Residential units with young adults Schools Counselling Services/Family Services A local hospice, working with pre and post bereavement, A women’s prison working with both individuals and their families, facilitated family substance misuse programmes and EAP work.

My endeavour when working with a client is to customise the therapy to meet their needs as their history and experiences are unique to them. I create a safe, non-judgemental environment to establish trust so a client feels able to express their emotions. To facilitate change for a client it is vital to work to their pace; each individual can then meet their goals in their time.

It can be a difficult experience when first coming to therapy and it can challenge you to feel out of your comfort zone however this process can make us stronger so that we will have the tools for future challenges.
