I specialise in brief, solution-focused therapy for a wide range of emotional and behavioral problems including depression, anxiety disorders, relationship issues, cancer, traumas, PTSD, bereavement, assertiveness, self-esteem and sport-performance.
The main aspects of my sessions are warmth, empathy, authenticity and trust. I strive to work collaboratively to help people navigate their emotional experiences, develop greater self-knowledge and self-awareness and connect to their inner drive and motivation. I employ a variety of effective strategies aimed at improving their emotional responses, de-escalate chronic stress and foster resilience, including Mindfulness and Self-Compassion Therapy.
This integrative approach draws on scientific research on areas people need to focus on, to function optimally and enjoy a meaningful and fulfilling life.
As a NCPS Senior Accredited Therapist, I am governed by the standards of practice and ethical framework laid down by the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society. To retain my ability to practice safely and ethically within the evolving scope of practice, I regularly attend workshops and online courses.
