With life comes challenges, which we may find difficult and overwhelming at times. I provide a space where you can explore, express and tell your story in a safe way. Therapy can be difficult but very rewarding. I believe the therapeutic relationship is an important aspect in the work.
I work with young people and adults, I have an open, honest, compassionate and non-judgmental attitude. I work in an integrative way in order for you to benefit from the approach that best suits your needs at that time. My empathic approach is to explore vulnerabilities to gain a deeper understanding and for you to gain insight, and self-awareness.
I incorporate aspects of CBT to support you to explore the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviour. I offer a safe space to explore through mindfulness to calm the body and creative recourses to assist in the healing process. When we are in a state of calm, we can think from a place of love.
Prior to therapy I have worked for many years in educational and social care settings. I realised I wanted to offer more to the people I worked with however there were limitations to my help and support. This made me embark on my therapeutic journey and I haven’t looked back. My aim is to support clients to speak and live their truth.
