Hi there, if you have found your way here then perhaps you aren't quite feeling yourself, maybe you feel a bit lost, like life is against you or like you can't cope. It can feel daunting to start talking about how you are feeling, particularly if no one has asked you before. Maybe you think your feelings don't matter, they do matter here. We can start to gently explore these feelings together so that you can feel better about yourself, less anxious and more grounded in your life. I understand that breaking the silence can be very difficult; I am here to listen and we will work at a pace set by you.
I approach my clients as individuals, there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to people's identities, relationships and emotions. I have an open and inclusive approach to creating a welcoming space where my clients are free to bring their whole self; particularly the parts that stay hidden due to mistreatment, discrimination and oppression.
When you first come to counselling you might not know exactly where to begin, or you may have a clear idea of where you want to start. Either way, we will work together to start exploring your thoughts, feelings and bodily sensations so that you can make sense of whatever you are experiencing.
