Hello I am Rachel Sewrey, I am a qualified counsellor and certified clinical supervisor based in Farnham, Surrey. I am a registered member of the BACP and an Accredited member of the NCS. As well as having my own private practice Serenity Speaking, based in Farnham and I have volunteered for a few years with The Fountain Centre, Royal Surrey County Hospital and with Catalyst drug and Alcohol misuse charities. I offer a secure, confidential environment so that you can feel safe to explore whatever may be troubling you. I am an integrative and EMDR therapist. This means I am able to tailor the therapy to suit your individual needs. I believe that understanding, compassion and a non judgmental approach are important values in life, always using these values in my practice. I work collaboratively with you, at your pace. I can offer short-term, fixed-term or long- term, face to face (in a COVID-19 secure environment) or if you prefer I can offer online & telephone therapy. My experience involves using EMDR therapy for trauma (PTSD/CPTSD) which has been statistically proven highly effective. Working with addiction and substance misuse for Catalyst, Guildford for three years. I have also volunteered my time (3+ years) working with cancer patients, their families and carers at The Fountain Centre, Royal Surrey County Hospital Guildford.
