Hello, I'm Liam Wakefield, an integrative therapist and coach dedicated to supporting individuals on their path to living their best life. With a unique blend of therapeutic approaches and coaching techniques, I offer a comprehensive and tailored approach to help clients navigate life's challenges, discover their inner strengths, and create meaningful transformations. We have all let our past dictate our present moment and thus create fear for the future. I am here to help you navigate uncertainty, design a future that you can integrate and live a life you are proud of.

After being medically retired from the British Army, after eleven years of service, I focused my attention on helping others. I was diagnosed with a life-changing illness and focused my attention on working with LTHC (Long-Term Health Conditions) and the trauma around life-changing illnesses. Facing and overcoming a lot of my own difficulties I directed my work towards PTSD and suicide prevention. I was fortunate enough to work with Armed Forces and law enforcement in both the UK and US.
After a number of years working in this environment, I moved to work with the NHS Improving Access to Psychological Therapy (IAPT) to focus on working with more common mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. Later moving my work into Relationships, working with individuals relationships with themselves and others.
I have done a great amount of work in Post Traumatic Growth and using integrative work to overcome the parts of our past that causes so much disruption in our daily life.

I maintain my continual professional development to stay updated with the latest research and therapeutic advancements, as well as work closely with supervision in both therapy and coaching to ensure my clients get the best from me.

Areas of Focus:
I specialise in working with clients on various challenges. Whether it's managing anxiety and stress, overcoming limiting beliefs, enhancing self-esteem and self-worth, or navigating major life transitions, I provide guidance and support to empower clients in their journey towards personal growth and fulfilment.

Client-Centred Approach:
My work is deeply rooted in a client-centred approach, meaning that your needs, goals, and values are at the heart of our sessions. Together, we will explore your unique strengths, uncover underlying patterns, and develop practical strategies to facilitate positive change and achieve your desired outcomes.

Compassion and Growth:
I approach each client with compassion, respect, and genuine care. I am committed to creating a nurturing and empowering space where you can explore your challenges, discover new insights, and embrace your potential for growth and transformation. Through our collaboration, I aim to help you cultivate resilience, embrace self-compassion, and build a fulfilling and authentic life.

If you're ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, empowerment, and lasting change, I invite you to reach out and start this transformative process together. Let's work towards creating a life that aligns with your values, aspirations, and overall well-being.
