Through our work together, I help my clients draw on their strengths and inner resources to facilitate increasing self-awareness, improving relationships, and making changes to ease suffering and promote well-being. I utilise psychoeducation to help my clients understand their brains and bodies, normalising their psychological and physiological responses to stress, loss, and trauma. I am knowledgeable and skilled in working with issues such as anxiety, depression, work-related stress, loss and bereavement, trauma, and relationship issues.
After completing my training, I provided bereavement counselling through Marie Curie Hospice in Solihull and worked with a social enterprise organisation in the West Midlands, delivering therapeutic services for an underserved local community and training for colleagues. I now divide my time between my private practice and Working Minds UK, an occupational health organisation that provides counselling, training and supervision to employees within public, private and third sector organisations.
I am an Accredited Registrant of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and a Student Member of the British Psychological Society.
