I offer open ended therapy which means how long we work together will be an on-going discussion between us. We will regularly review how counselling is benefiting you and ensure we are working towards any goals you may have.
Counselling starts with an initial consultation lasting up to one hour, where we will discuss your wishes. This costs £25 and allows you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have prior to starting counselling.
Sessions for Young People (aged over 11yrs)- For those under 18yrs I offer parents or guardians a free phone conversation, to gather some basic information, to discuss their needs and to answer any questions you may have prior to attending their initial consultation.
As well as a range of counselling experience and qualifications I also have a background of working with clients who have ADHD, are Autistic or consider themselves on the neurodiverse spectrum, with or without a formal diagnosis. On the website you will find a video of what it looks like entering the counselling room from the carpark to familiarise yourself.
My aim is to support people trying to better understand their own identity.
