I studied Humanistic Intergrative Counselling, the core for the training was Person Centred, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis backed up by Clarksons and Eagan. I have studied further in SFT, CBT, IEMT, Working with Couples and Clinical Supervision, amongst many other CPD short courses. I ran a course training student counsellors competencies for Counselling Young People, as well as working in the secondary school.
When I started my journey to become a counsellor I knew I was doing the right thing. I dont have a job I have a vocation and as time goes on I am still as pationate as I was when I started.
Having studied on a course that went way beyond my expectations, it set me up to be a calm, robust and professional therapist, with my clients wellbeing at the heart of what I do.
