I qualified over 12 years ago and I have gained lots of experience, especially when I was a volunteer and later, an employed Volunteer Coordinator/Counsellor at the Northamptonshire Rape Crisis Centre. This has given me so much insight and experience to understand the impact of historic abuse and sexual violence towards men and women, as well as the ripple effect on how they may relate to other people in their life. I have also worked at Mind offering a safe space for anyone who wants to understand what has happened, how do they feel and to appreciate what they may need to help them move forward in their life.
