I am a qualified counsellor working in Pitsea and Rayleigh. I am trained in person centred, psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I work as an integrative counsellor and as a result adapt my approach according to the issues a client brings to therapy. I work with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, bereavement, self harm and addiction. It is important to incorporate different ways of working to the needs of the individual client. One size does not fit all! I am friendly, down to earth and create a safe and comfortable environment for a client to explore their difficulties and develop their own solutions. I have experience working with adults, children and teenagers. Alongside my private practice I work for a young carers charity providing counselling for children, teenagers and families. I have experience counselling in primary schools and secondary schools. I also work for insurance companies including Bupa and Aviva. I work face to face, via zoom and telephone which ever works best for the client.

I hold an enhanced DBS certificate, public liability insurance and I am ICO registered ensuring your data is protected.
