Gill's clients are adults who work with her for a short time or for a longer term, on a range of issues, including those she specialises in:
Disordered eating
Relationship and sexual issues
Dealing with stressful conditions at work
Living with life threatening illness, complex bereavement
Difficulties with self-esteem, depression, anxiety
Survival of trauma and adverse childhood experiences
As a supervisor, also in private practice, she works with trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists, as individuals and in groups. In addition, she has a history of providing a supervision role to other health and social care professionals, including groups of General Practitioners supporting their mentoring work.
Gill is currently employed by the Trafford College Group delivering the Level 4 diploma in therapeutic counselling. Until recently, she was also in a partnership providing training events on subjects such as emotional abuse, the wounded inner child, and complex grief.
