My aim is to provide you with the safety in which you can explore your thoughts and feelings, accompanying you on your path in life when you are stuck and feeling unsure how to proceed. My personal counselling style is to be open to your unique experiences, with the hope of helping you make better sense of your problems, and working with you on your journey to self-awareness, growth and wellness.
I work in an integrative way with clients, meaning I use person-centred and psychodynamic models, giving you the opportunity to explore your experiences in the present, but also looking at how your past may have influenced your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I also bring in aspects of the transpersonal when appropriate, providing the space to explore more soulful aspects of your self, identity and life.
I am happy to work with you online, on the telephone, or we can meet in person in my private and comfortable counselling space in CR2.
I have experience of working with a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, stress, social anxiety, bereavement, feeling sad, life transitions, low self-esteem, and self-confidence. Also existential issues such as loss of meaning or direction, relationship problems, seperation and divorce, and co-dependency. I am also happy to work with issues around sexuality and problems specific to the LGBTQ+ community.
