Hello, I am a qualified, accredited Counsellor and Mindfulness practitioner, and run a private practice from my home in Billericay, Essex. I have been working in this field for 10 years, however I qualified as a counsellor in April 2014. Prior to that I worked in stress management in the work-place and with individuals: also as a Health Improvement Practitioner for the NHS.

One of the most important points to remember when choosing a counsellor is apart from the relevant qualifications, the connection/relationship you have with your therapist is key to how successful your personal therapy will be.

I can assure you that I'll do my best to put you at ease and help you to feel as comfortable as possible at your appointment.

I consider myself to be an approachable, friendly an professional. I have been through my own counseling process and still continue as part of my professional development. It was my experience with personal therapy that inspired me to qualify and work in this very rewarding career.

Thank you

I currently also work part time for a charitable organisation as a Family Well-being Outreach Practitioner.

My approach to counseling is integrative, using a few different theories including Person Centred, Pschodynamic, CBT and Mindfulness and neuro-psychology including Polyvagel theory, Vagal Tone, Body/Mind exercises to calm the nervous system.
