Your application for membership has been sent to our Membership Services Team, who will add your details to our system and process your Direct Debit request.
Direct Debits are collected on the 1st of the month. We need 5 clear days before the 1st of the month in order to get your payment set up in time; if we receive the instruction after that date then your payment will be collected the following month.
Once we have received your payment your membership will then be activated, and we will send you login details for the Members' Area of the website. Your application form will be passed to the assessment team for them to review the information you have provided and award the appropriate membership grade.
We will be in touch with you again as soon as the team have assessed your application; our guidelines state that this process can take anything up to 10 weeks following payment, however you are welcome to contact us if you have not heard from us after this time.
At the Society's discretion, a DBS check may be requested from any member or applicant, the cost of which will be borne by the member or applicant.
Please note that you will be a member of the Society from the time your payment is received, and you are welcome to make full use of the benefits of membership from that point.
