'What's this really about? Defining the Therapeutic Task in Counselling'

Nick Luxmoore is joining Network at this year's Annual Conference he will be exploring "At a time of spending cuts, is it every enough to say that we listen and empathise, offering a non-judgemental relationship in which people can explore things confidentially? Aren't all professionals aiming to do this? What else are counsellors aiming to do? What's the therapeutic task beyond listening and empathising?"

Nick Luxmoore is a supervisor, trainer, school counsellor, teacher, youth worker and psycotherapist with 40 years' experience of working with young people and the professionals who support them.
