You will receive a 'Foundation Certificate in Counselling Children & Young People' if you write an essay handed in at the close of the 30 hour course.
The Aims of the Course are:
To understand the differences between counselling adults and counselling children & young people
To understand the legal and ethical requirements for working with children & young people
To develop a theoretical understanding for working with children & young people
To develop and practise skills and techniques for counselling children & young people
This complete course helps counsellors to feel more confident working with children, teaches skills and techniques and is suitable for those considering or already working in a school environment.
