I am a Senior Accredited member of NCS and Accredited by BACP. I’m friendly, approachable, easy-going and easy to talk too. I’m a very motivated and work-oriented person, so helping clients reach their goals and full potential is my forte. My ultimate aim is to help you build resilience, so you can cope with the issues life throws at you and empower you to improve your Mental Health, well-being and manage your life effectively.

I was the winner of the Best Private Practice Awards 2020, National Counsellors Day CTUK. I provide Counselling and Animal Assisted Therapy for children age 11 and over, adolescents, adults and older people.
I also provide Rewind Therapy for children age 6 plus upto & including adults.
My therapy room is a comfortable private and confidential space for us to talk, without fear or judgement. Disabled access and drinks are provided.
The therapy is based on the therapeutic relationship, & on trust. I work from a Humanistic approach integrating therapeutic modals/tools as required, for example, CBT, Solution Focused, etc.
The Counselling moves at your pace, with what you wish to discuss. The more you offload and emerge yourself in the process, the better your results.

The initial assessment, it takes an hour and a half. This assessment includes free time to discuss your issues. In the assessment we will start looking at your level of mood, anxiety and overall well-being, using measures giving you a starting score. These checks are repeated regularly to identify any risk, or improvement & evidence any change. Clients I’ve previously worked with have had a great success rate at helping improve their mood and well-being, allowing them to move on with their lives.
After the Counselling assessment, we complete some paperwork discussing terms etc.

During my Counselling training and running a pet care business, I have discovered the true value of how therapeutic animals are for people. Hence my reason for training in Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT).
I have been running my private practice since 2016 offering Counselling and Animal Assisted Therapy, for adults and Teens. This has been a great success. Clients have found their sessions with cats relaxing, allowing them to open up, it has lowered their anxiety, improved their mood and increased their self-esteem.
So if you would like your sessions to be with a therapy pet, then you can by having face to face sessions. When stroking a pet it releases feel-good hormones for you and the pet. It brings about great health benefits like lowering blood pressure, lowering stress and anxiety levels, improving mood, help build self-esteem, lowering heart rate, helping with depression, and building confidence, etc. Neisha is the main Therapy pet, she is totally devoted to her clients, and works along with her assistant Molly. Molly is a great model to practice your interpersonal skills on, as she has anxiety, so if she accepts you, you're doing good! I also have an option of a small therapy dog and I have a robot cat, for the more frail or older person.

Of course if AAT is not for you, I offer Counselling sessions without animals. Not everyone likes or wants to handle pets. If your allergic then don’t worry the therapy room is deep cleaned before your come.

Rewind Trauma Therapy has amazing results alleviating symptoms of OCD, PTSD, nightmares or any bad experience which still affects you in the ‘here and now’.
