I grew up in Niger, West Africa, and moving back and forth between cultures as I visited England and France in my childhood has given me an appreciation of both the joys and challenges of a mobile life. I specialise working with anyone trying to process identity, belonging, transitions and how to build a life that aligns with their needs and desires.
Studying French and Sociology at university deepened my appreciation of different cultures and how they impact how we see the world. I was also glad to be part of study abroad programs that helped me meet my need for change! Through my doctorate I was excited to see how powerful story telling could be for people. I later founded Life Story Therapies as a way of meeting a need I saw for people to tell their whole stories. I have a deep commitment to learning about my clients' contexts and histories, so that any work we do together is built on shared understanding and I look at the changes you want to make from your perspective. I delight every day in seeing how my clients take control of their stories, seeing their past chapters with compassion and writing new chapters - their way!
