I have worked as an online emotional well-being practitioner, helping children and young people through text-based counselling as well as the provision of face to face therapy in schools for referrals via CAMHS.
I work with victims and survivors of all forms of sexual violence and domestic abuse, offering compassionate understanding and a place to feel supported with the emotional aftermath, frequently experienced as a sense of powerlessness or confusion, trauma responses including those associated with PTSD and reduced confidence or self esteem.
I also provide one-to-one bespoke therapeutic coaching services to adolescents and adults with executive functioning issues (involving the 'air traffic control systems of the mind' including, for example, time management, task completion and impulse control), some of which are challenges arising from neurodiversity (eg attention deficit disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or autism). Part of this support involves identifying the strengths contained within neurodiversity.
In addition I provide time-limited therapeutic coaching interventions within the finance and corporate sector, meeting the needs not addressed by traditional employee assistance programmes. These include the challenges of remote working, identifying triggers for work-based stress, issues around the menopause along with problems around work / life balance and communication.
My counselling services are flexibly-delivered in person on the beautiful island of Jersey, or nationwide on the telephone or via video.
