Hi, I’m Emma, I am a qualified counsellor with the National Counselling Society (NCS) and have four years clinical training in Transactional Analysis (Wealden College). I offer psychotherapeutic counselling to individuals for children, young people and adults for 50-minute individual sessions and work either short term or long term depending on the individual client’s needs. I am fully insured, and DBS checked. I have worked in the capacity as a school counsellor in a school with primary, secondary and sixth form aged children and have completed a level 7 diploma in working with children and young people in September 2022 (TACTA).

I have always been interested in how people can have similar life experiences, yet we can all respond and behave in different ways. Our responses depends on how we were brought up, what our internal messages are and how you communicate with others to get your needs met. I am interested in working with you the client as a whole person, and understanding who you are in the here and now. Enabling you to understand your early life experiences and influences and how they have played a part in who you are now.
