I deal with a wide range of family and relationship issues including bereavement, trauma, divorce, addiction, self-harm, anxiety, behavioural problems, sexual abuse and anger issues. My approach is integrative so alongside traditional talking therapy, I sometimes use art, drama and play therapy techniques.
For adults, counselling is a healing and cleansing process, which can set you free to make healthy, informed choices about your future, overturn the ingrained patterns of behaviour that sabotage your happiness and release old pain and losses so you can experience your life to the full.
Working therapeutically with young people can: remove barriers to their success in school, the family and social groups; build a foundation of self awareness that will allow them to form happy secure relationships; and avoid emotional difficulties and depression in later life.
I am a Registered Member of the BACP and the National Counselling Association. I am fully trained regarding safeguarding and hold a current enhanced DBS certificate. 117227452
