I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor offering both short and long term therapy and have experience in working with people from a diversity of backgrounds with a wide range of issues. I work integratively which means I draw on the knowledge of more than one approach to ensure that the therapy I offer is flexible and tailor-made for each of my clients; respecting the uniqueness of every individual. I also strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship is at the very heart of the work we do together.
Therapy sessions usually last for 50 minutes and I offer appointments in Rushden and Northampton.
I also offer a free initial consultation which will enable me to understand your reasons for seeking counselling but will also provide you with the opportunity to decide whether I am the right therapist for you. This session can be held face to face or over the phone if you wish.
In addition to practicing privately, I have previously been a counsellor at Rushden Mind and Northamptonshire Rape Crisis. I am also a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and an accredited member of the National Counselling Society (NCS).
