My work offers me the privileged position of supporting people through some of the most difficult times in their lives.
I am experienced in working with a wide range of issues including stress, relationship problems, depression, bereavement and other life stressors.
During the assessment we will work together to agree which is the most appropriate support for you.
If I don't feel that counselling is suitable, I will try to signpost you to appropriate organisations.
I began my counselling journey in 1996, when i completed a L1 counselling course, which I found life enhancing.
I returned to study, a few years later when I achieved my counselling qualification.
After gaining years of experience, I met the requirements to become an accredited counsellor.
I returned to study in 2016 and gained a degree in 'Psychological Trauma' from Queens University, Belfast.
This has given me a deeper understanding of the impacts of stress and trauma on the mind and body, including that of transgenerational trauma on families.
