Hello, I’m Louise and I am an NCPS and MBACP registered professional Counsellor with 8 years of experience.
During those 8 years, I have worked with Adults, Adolescents, Children and Young people, experiencing a range of difficulties such as depression, anxiety disorders, anger management, bereavement, relationship difficulties, family issues, life transitions, low self-esteem, confidence, stress, abuse, trauma and those struggling with maladaptive recurring life patterns or lack direction in their life.
If you are having difficulties within your life or experiencing emotional pain and just can’t seem to overcome them no matter what you do. I am here to work alongside you, support you and explore your feelings and thoughts within a safe, warm, non judgemental and confidential space.
How can I help you?
I am down to earth and aim to make you feel safe and heard while we work together to process and address what you are finding difficult. We will work at your pace, and I will change and adapt my approach as appropriate. There is no ‘one size fits all’ to my practice because we are all unique and require different things to flourish.
I will support you to explore any past or current difficulties in a safe, supportive and confidential environment. I offer an empathic and non-judgement space to help you develop, grow and understand what may be troubling you.
Experiencing difficulties is a natural part of life, through counselling you will have the space to explore, gain awareness and learn new skills to help you manage or overcome things that once felt impossible.
People often find it very challenging to be honest with Family and Friends about the difficulties they are experiencing. This is where counselling can be so beneficial to many. It offers a space for them to be supported, and work through their difficulties with someone from an objective stance.
My current private work will be based online via Zoom and telephone. I may offer face to face if this is specifically requested which will be discussed during our consultation.
