Together we get curious, promoting self exploration and uncensored self expression, developing great insight and understanding, a powerful level of acceptance. As an integrative practitioner I draw from multiple therapeutic models providing Counselling, Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy separately or combined, to meet individual need.
I hold a wealth of experience working as a school counsellor and therapeutic practitioner, offering a neuro diverse approach, therapy in accordance to age and developmental stage. Sessions also draw from attachment and trauma based psychology informing play based therapy.
I am passionate about nurturing connection providing opportunities to share and express self freely, making sense of thoughts, feelings and behaviour, creating a foundation of self support, raised esteem, prioritising turning anxiety down.

I also have many years experience delivering emotional well-being workshops and interventions, previously working as a youth work manager and adult mental health advocate co-ordinator.

I absolutely understand how daunting it can be searching for the right counsellor, alongside the prospect of looking at the feelings that trigger the greatest fear. I have experienced living with high anxiety, panic, fear and a constant feeling of impending doom. Similarly I have experienced therapy, being sat in the opposite chair, as client, going through the exploration process and finding a greater sense of self, connecting with confidence, esteem and acceptance. Importantly, developing helpful strategies to reduce overwhelm and recognise that even when things are not going to plan, that I am enough…

It helps too, to have a greater understanding of what to expect; So the first session, the initial consultation, generally takes around 50 minutes, it is an information gathering session, we build a picture so to create an individualised therapeutic plan. The first appointment is also the first step in getting to know each other, empathically creating a safe space, for you, to ask any questions, discuss any concerns and talk freely. If you wish to move forward with a therapeutic plan, further sessions will take place, ideally weekly and lasting approximately 50 minutes.

If you would like to find out more, ask any questions or discuss moving forward with a personalized plan, please do not hesitate to contact, I look forward to hearing from you.
