My name is Teresa Crumpton I am a qualified and experienced psychotherapeutic counsellor, and I am an accredited member of the National Counsellors Society. I provide confidential and professional therapeutic counselling in a safe and comfortable environment for people over the age of 18 years at my private practice.
I have been involved with helping and supporting people in a variety of roles, many voluntary, for over thirty years. Over the last five years I have worked with charities that provide counselling support, including bereavement and rape and sexual abuse. Everyone gets stuck at some time in their life and needs help. I strongly believe that with the right support you can change your life and live the life that you deserve.
The overall approach that I follow is a person-centred approach to counselling which means that the therapy is led by you the client. It is a flexible approach allowing you to work with what you decide you want to work with at your own pace in a safe, non-judgmental and respectful way. I am also trained and experienced in other approaches and adopt an integrative approach where I feel it may help you. My philosophy is that you are individual and unique and so is the therapy that I provide for you.
