As a Person Centred, CBT and EMDR Psychotherapist, I provide an integrated approach in counselling which enables me to meet the needs of each individual and provide them with the necessary tools to enable better lifestyle choices and reach their desired goals. I have experience in working with a range of presenting issues such Anxiety Disorders, Depression, PTSD, Trauma, Suicide Ideation and Addiction.

We all have this innate ability to strive and survive, though unfortunately life can throw to much at us, even from birth and our ability to resolve or keep repressing minor or major traumas, becomes too overwhelming for our nervous system and then life becomes challenging, perhaps what we used to enjoy, has no meaning anymore, or we're exhausted trying to keep up with life's expectations. Our innate survival system has been triggered into fight, flight, freeze or flee mode and is running on default and this is when we develop unhealthy coping strategies in order to numb the pain, which are remembered and re-enforced by our subconscious.

I respect and admire the strength and courage it takes to ask for help and seek counselling, you have taken the first step, well done. Thankyou for visiting my profile page and I look forward to collaboratively working with you.
