Welcome! I have a long career in mental health working as a counsellor, supervisor and trainer, collaborating with individuals, organisations and communities to promote mental wellbeing. As an integrative counsellor and accredited member of the National Counselling Society, I work holistically to support people in dealing with personal and relational difficulties, life review, attachment challenges, addiction, trauma, mental ill health and recovery. I have organisational counselling experience, including Woman’s Trust, for women who have experienced domestic abuse; Subwize, for children, young people and families whose lives are impacted by substance addictions; and the Church of England, where I have develop and lead a counselling support network. In my private practice, I work with adults and young people experiencing anxiety and stress, issues in relationships and work, past and present trauma, self-harm, addiction and depression. I offer a range of therapeutic counselling approaches aimed at building resilience, gaining life skills, enhancing life choices and developing diverse perspectives. As an experienced educator, I can offer mentorship and support with self-development. I am a qualified trainer and Mental Health First Aid Instructor. As an experienced mental health practitioner, I can support people with longer term mental health challenges. I offer counselling supervision to groups and individuals. I am open to working with trainees and charities for a reduced fee. My approach is relational, compassionate and flexible.
