I am an accomplished, mental health professional, teacher and counsellor, working collaboratively with individuals, organisations and communities to promote mental health and wellbeing. As an integrative counsellor and accredited member of the National Counselling Society, I work holistically to support people in dealing with personal and relational difficulties, reviewing life plans, problem-solving and recovery. I am a volunteer counsellor with two charitable organisations, Woman’s Trust, providing free counselling for women who have experienced domestic abuse and Subwize, who provide free counselling for children and young people whose lives are impacted by substance addictions. In my private practice, I work with adults and young people experiencing anxiety, relationship issues, stress-related issues, work related issues, trauma and self-harm, addiction and depression. I offer a range of therapeutic counselling approaches aimed at building resilience, gaining life skills, enhancing life choices and developing diverse perspectives. As an experienced educator, I can offer mentorship and support with self-development. I am a qualified trainer and Mental Health First Aid Instructor. As an experienced mental health practitioner, I can also support people with longer term mental health challenges. My approach is relational, compassionate and flexible.
