Hi there and welcome to the first step of your journey towards recovery. My name is Emma Byrne Bsc (hons) PROF. DIP PSY C. I am a licensed counsellor using psychotherapeutic skills from Belfast, N.Ireland. I have three years experience working in a community setting with a strong focus on trans-generational trauma, working with victims and survivors of the Northern Ireland conflict know as "the Troubles." I have experience in a range of modalities and approaches including person centred, client focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, CBT and trauma focused approaches. I believe in a client led approach with future focused intentions driven by the client themselves. I have worked with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, grief/loss, PTSD, Complex PTSD and other trauma. I have worked with a range of clients from different religious backgrounds, sexual orientation and race and welcome all people from all walks of life to connect on a human level.
