Each of us are shaped into the person we are today by our upbringing; including cultural and religious beliefs, by the people we have around us, and our lived experiences. This mix forms our internal values and belief systems and how we see the world and those within it.

When we have negative experiences, including trauma, or the people in our lives don't treat us well, or even abuse us, we can often develop distorted beliefs of ourselves, others and the world as a whole.

And this, in turn, can lead to poor mental health, including low moods, depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, shame and even loss of what should have been.

You may have developed self-defeating behaviours and unhealthy coping strategies to manage what you were going through at that time. Things that have become habits or addictions that you just can’t shake.

And although you can’t change the past, or what's happened to you, together, we can look to challenge any negative core beliefs; helping you to build a positive sense of self, in a space where you can feel seen and heard.

I will work with you to replace old, unhealthy coping strategies with new techniques that help you to emotionally regulate and to stay safe.

We can work towards your goals; carving out the future you want based on your dreams and aspirations.

I will support you in accepting what has passed; releasing the hold that it has had on you. Empowering you to make positive choices and your desired changes.
