My approach to common mental health issues and other psychological problems, is to recognise the three dimensions within which they have developed:
(1) one’s thoughts and feelings
(2) one’s relationships
(3) one’s life stage.
I am an integrative counsellor; I adopt a Person-Centred approach. I selectively incorporate practices from other counselling theories, to meet a client’s needs. I believe that a counselling relationship offering trust, safety, lack of judgement and empathy is the first step towards healing and change for a client.
