Nurat is a qualified Professional Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with a background in Counselling in Education in her first degree and post graduate Masters qualification in the same field. She enjoys working within educational settings where she has worked as a Pastoral Counsellor, Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead Officer, and Learning Intervention Support Worker. Nurat also has a passion for supporting other people within her community, she has presented seminars, workshops, different topics on mental health issues among men and women including the young people. She also gives back to the community by allowing people to access talking therapy whilst signposting them to other appropriate agencies. She has over two decades of rich experience within educational setting and community-based support work. Nurat has her own professional counselling private practice where she helps others to understand themselves and their world. Nurat works with families, especially on relationships issues and marriage (systemic counselling). She use an Integrative Approach to therapy that allows her to tailor her clients' needs to their satisfaction.
