Personal difficulties, trauma and issues, can often cause blocks to living a healthy and fulfilling life. The process of therapy can support an individual to safely share experiences, make sense of issues, feel empowered, raise awareness and explore different ways to address those personal blocks, and ultimately make positive life changes.

I am an accredited Counselling Psychotherapist. I have been in practice working for both private and public sectors since 2012 providing therapy for adults and young adults (16 yrs and above). My approach is 'Client Centred' which means that my clients are kept central to all the work I do. I am not limited to using various techniques to meet the different needs of individuals including talking therapies, mindfulness & creative techniques. Having a non-judgemental attitude, being genuine, showing acceptance and empathy towards my clients has proven successful in creating a safe environment wherein my clients can feel heard, and explore their issues with ease.

I understand that 'not one size fits all' therefore, having knowledge and experience of different theoretical models has been most beneficial to the way I practice. This enables me to work dynamically as a therapist incorporating different skills to meet my clients needs.

I am culturally competent and do not hesitate to work with related issues, as well as being experienced and competent in the following areas; Sexual Abuse (Male& Female), CSE (Childhood Sexual Exploitation) Family issues, Domestic Abuse & Violence, Forced Marriage, Honour Based Abuse, Childhood Trauma, Complex Trauma, Trafficking & Grooming, Bullying & Harassment, Relationship Issues, Anxiety, Depression, Suicidal feelings, Self-Harm.

*I currently offer long term/short term telephone and online therapy (zoom video sessions) with a free initial consultation.
