Key Workers Counselling

Does it sometimes feel that life is overwhelming, that you just feel like things are a struggle and you just want a safe place to talk, be heard and have your feelings and thoughts validated? Are your thoughts taking over and making general day to day tasks and relationships a challenge? Sometimes, we have friends and family who we can talk with , but we worry we are burdening them with our issues. I can offer you a safe environment to talk and express yourself, without feeling judged. Therapy requires the relationship between two people, to feel safe, non-judgmental and trusting. I will walk with you on your therapeutic journey and together, we will work through what you bring to the therapeutic alliance.

I come from a social care background, working with children, families and foster carers for over 20 years. I am also a foster carer, bringing a wealth of skills and experiences from these two backgrounds which is something which blends well with my Psychotherapy. I offer a Pluralistic approach which, in simple terms allows client and therapist to be fully involved in the therapy by way of treatment planning, deciding on counselling modalities, reviewing therapeutic progress and amending to suit the needs of the client at every step of their journey.

Please contact me to discuss how we can work together.
