Hello and welcome!
I’m Katherine, and I am an experienced person-centred counsellor.
My journey as a counsellor began when through my own experience, I often felt unheard and misunderstood, sometimes even with those closest to me.
As a person-centred counsellor I provide a safe and genuine, therapeutic space. You are welcomed into an environment that is non-judgemental and your individual, unique self and experiences are accepted. We would embark upon a therapeutic relationship where we can truly be ourselves and recognise that change is a possibility.
I have extensive experience as a counsellor with a charitable organisation for those who have experienced trauma. In addition, I have additional training and have worked with those who have experienced a wide range of difficulties such as, binge eating, anxiety, depression, bereavement, low self-esteem, isolation, and relationship difficulties.
I also have a long standing relationship with a local training provider, and am able to provide counselling hours, for their trainee counsellors, in line with the awarding bodies requirements. Any enquires from trainee counsellors are welcomed.

Qualifications:
CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
CPCAB Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies.
CPCAB Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills.
BACP OU Counselling Online.
I have a current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate, and I am fully insured.
