My personal experiences led me to train as a counsellor after working as a mental health and mental capacity advocate. In 2016 I trained with Cruse Bereavement Support and have continued to volunteer with Cruse as I progressed in my studies to become a pluralistic counsellor. My background as a disabled person, my career working with disabled people, and my experiences with bereavement have provided me with a vast toolkit that I draw on in my work as a therapist.
