Although all are welcome, I specialise in counselling clients with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Condition and Specific Learning Difficulties, e.g. dyslexia. I have worked with adults with neurodiverse conditions for over 30 years now, first as an adult teacher, then as an assessor and now as a counsellor. Life can seem confusing and complex and sometimes who we are and what we want can get lost along the way. My overall aim is to help clients explore and understand what is going on for them, let go of self-limiting beliefs, continue their life journey with more awareness, and be comfortable within themselves.

I am an integrative counsellor mainly using person-centred and gestalt approaches. As well as talking therapy I offer sandplay for adults. Although there is some talking, the emphasis is more on non-verbal communication. Using miniature objects, clients create small worlds which often reflect previously unrecognised inner thoughts, struggles and hopes. Looking at this inner world manifest in the sand can bring answers and often a clearer way forward.
