I believe counselling is about finding a professional you feel comfortable with; who is able and willing to sit with whatever difficulties you're facing as an individual or couple. To not judge you and to provide a secure place to unravel difficult situations or painful emotions. To support you in finding meaning with those difficulties, making changes to feel better and to improve your emotional wellbeing and relationships. To learn new strategies to manage emotional challenges differently. This is what I can provide for you.
I can offer short term or long term counselling in your preferred medium whether that be face to face, via video-call, telephone or email. I help couples, individuals, parents, young people and children in counselling. I offer clinical supervision to qualified and trainee counsellors. I'm also a Counselling Trainer for a national counselling organisation.
My approach is integrative which means I have lots of skills in working with different approaches to suit you. Whether that's providing a safe space to talk and listen, over a long or short period, working in a solution focused way or working creatively.
