I offer counselling and psychotherapy to adults, children and young people in Crowborough and Tonbridge.

Finding a therapist that is right for you is key, and there are many different theoretical approaches that each has their own ideas around psychological difficulties and human development. Of the varying modalities, I’ve had training in: Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Gestalt Therapy, Person-Centred Counselling, Psychodynamic Counselling, and Solution-Focussed Therapy.

I’ve found that combining aspects of different approaches provides the most effective way of building a healthy relationship. Research suggests that the therapeutic relationship is the most important feature for a successful outcome during counselling or therapy. Enhancing that relationship can help you to feel safe, accepted and respected while also challenging you in a positive and constructive way.
