Key Worker Counselling

I work by bringing people into their present moment awareness through the use of noticing what is happening in the body. Too often we live life from only the head, and we are disconnected from our bodies and emotions. I will help you to reconnect to your emotional experience in the here and now, which will allow past and present issues to be addressed. I provide a compassionate space where you will feel the safety necessary to touch into the the difficult places that therapy can open up. I believe that when we give attention to these areas of suffering, then we can heal the wounds causing us dis-ease, allowing us to have a more fulfilling existence. When we view ourselves more compassionately, and accept ourselves then change happens. I feel very honoured and privileged that people trust me to share the most intimate details of their life, their struggles and heartaches. These very human experiences, that unfortunately we feel need to hide from the world as they will not be heard and seen without judgement, are what we will explore together. Very few of us get to experience the power of being truly experienced for who we are, and for what we are feeling; counselling can provide this. I believe that everyone has a huge capacity to heal, and that I am guide on that journey with you; you are the one that ultimately does the work, and I will help you to rediscover the qualities within that have become hidden. I understand that starting the journey is very difficult, and that finding the right therapist where a good relationship can be created, is of the utmost importance. I offer a free 20 minute online consultation where we can meet and decide if we would like to work together.
