I am a qualified counsellor and a trainee play therapist. Currently, I can provide counselling sessions online via zoom or telephone. I will be based in the Swansea and Morriston area when face to face sessions can begin again.

My hope is to provide you with a confidential, safe and nurturing space to explore all aspects of your life in the here and now. Using Gestalt and Emotion Focused Therapy as my main ways of working, I am here to provide a space that is just for you where I will listen without judgement and with warmth and acceptance. Working at your pace and together to explore areas of yourself, your life and your relationships to better understand yourself and identify parts where you feel stuck or you want to change.

I can help you to look back over your childhood to help you make sense of difficult and traumatic childhood experiences which have impacted your adult life in ways you might not have realised. I can help you understand brain development and recognise patterns of behaviour you repeat in your daily life and relationships. Working safely with trauma is an area I practice in to find the most effective way to help you move forward.

I also work a lot with parents to better understand the influence and impact their own parenting has had on the way they parent their own children. I can help you to understand and work through the impact your own attachment history has had on your life, making connections and supporting to you move on with your life with more confidence and self-acceptance.
I am really looking forward hearing from you and talking through any questions you have
The Play Therapy Practice will be open from June 2021.
