Welcome to ReDiscover & Bloom Therapy which is all about self-discovery and focusing on you!
Are you struggling right now? Would you like to unravel the thoughts and feelings you are having so that you can live a better life. Making changes to your life is not easy, it takes courage and you have taken the first step.

I am a qualified and experienced Integrative Counsellor/Therapist and specialise in working with neurodiversity (including ADHD, highly sensitive person, ASD, dyslexia), anxiety, stress, depression, bereavement, grief and loss, trauma, anger management, parenting and pregnancy related issues.
I also work with a wide range of difficulties including employment issues, dementia and those suffering from the long term effects of covid (such as brain fog, fatigue and insomnia).
Inclusivity is at the heart of my practice and I work with clients from different walks of life regardless of your ethnicity, religion, gender, disability or sexual orientation.
In addition to my practice, I work for an organisation in the city of London providing therapy to clients who suffering from loss, planned/unplanned pregnancy, antenatal/postnatal depression, fertility and parenting issues.

Sometimes life can feel like an emotional rollercoaster which affects not only the mind but the body. As a consequence, you may be left feeling detached from your sense of self and relationships, experiencing triggers or unhelpful thoughts.

My theoretical approach is integrative as I believe one glove does not fit all and I will tailor my approach according to your needs. This involves working together to obtain a deep understanding of your concerns and what works for you. When words are not enough, I can collaborate with you from a creative and holistic approach that is appropriate for you and your situation to help you to heal and accomplish your goals.

I am passionate about supporting people and will always create a warm, friendly, professional, safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for you to feel at ease to sit and talk through your difficulties at your own pace. This will allow us to explore what has brought you to therapy and how I can help you.
I am experienced at working with resistance and those who are feeling stuck and do not know where to start to tell their story. Facing your fears and connecting with what is happening in your life can be a scary experience.

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.
Maya Angelou, "I know why the caged bird sings."

Sometimes it can be easier to be kind to others than ourselves. and being compassionate and gentle to yourself and investing in your health is a big step. I will support you on your journey of reflection to grow and flourish by helping you to work through these difficulties and recognise your strengths. By exploring different therapeutic interventions will help you to gain clarity, acceptance, self-awareness and help to improve your overall wellbeing.

Some of the difficulties I help clients with:

• Are you struggling to cope and make sense of what is going on for you?
• Do you feel unheard and judged by other people?
• Are you feeling anxious, low in mood or experiencing sleepless nights and would like to control those unhelpful thoughts?
• Would you like to discuss a diagnosis e.g. ADHD, cancer, dementia, fertility?
• Are you trying to come to terms with the loss of your identity, relative, job, relationship, cognitive impairment?
• Do you find it difficult to make new friends and feel isolated?
• Are you struggling to conceive, connect with your pregnancy or bond with your baby?
• Do you have flashbacks from the trauma that you have experienced?

Your first session
I completely understand that it is important to find a therapist that you are able to build a good rapport with and that they are experienced to work with the difficulties that you would like to work through.
I work with clients short and long-term and face-to-face, online and on the telephone. Sessions are normally 50 minutes and we can discuss the frequency and timing of our sessions. However, I will always try to accommodate as best as I can.

Once you are happy to go proceed, our first session will involve an assessment and we will complete this during the session. This session will allow us to explore what you would like to work on and what you hope to achieve from our sessions.

I practice from two therapy consulting rooms located in Enfield and in the City of London.
My consulting room in Enfield is well located in the town centre and is easily accessible from Liverpool Street, Haringey, Southgate, Barnet, Cheshunt and Chingford. It is close to Palace Gardens Shopping Centre and a short walking distance from Enfield Town and Enfield Chase Train Stations.
The nearest tube station is Oakwood and there are several bus stops nearby.

In the city of London my practice is located directly opposite Liverpool Street Train Station (close to a number of mainline train and tube stations which are all within walking distance from Moorgate, Bank, Aldgate and Shoreditch).

I also offer online (secure video platforms which can be easily accessed via mobile phone, tablet, laptop and computer) and telephone sessions to clients across the UK.

If you are interested in working with me, please get in touch via telephone or email. I aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours. I look forward to hearing from you.
