Counselling with me at my private practice 'Sensera Counselling' is a complete approach to increase your positive well being and aid your self development and growth. I can help equip you with the tools and resources to change effectively.

EXPLORE lifes challenges through counselling.
REALISE you can change by looking inward through journalling.
AWAKEN to your potential as you learn and integrate mindfulness techniques.

My name is Catherine and I am the founder of Sensera Counselling. I studied Literature, Life and Thought at University, graduating in 1998. My study introduced me to concepts from psychology and philosophy which continue to influence my outlook.

I qualified as a Counsellor in 2005, securing professional counselling work and progressing to a position as Counselling Project Leader for Relate and The Family and Relationship Centre. After the birth of my first child I worked as an Adult Education Tutor of Counselling. I had time out to bring up my children and now run Sensera Counselling.

I developed the sensERA Approach as a complete package to compliment the journey from the beginning to the end of counselling.

I have experience working with people with diverse needs and I have a proven track record of effective results and positive outcomes. I consider myself to be a compassionate, understanding and friendly counsellor. I attend regular supervision and I am committed to my ongoing training and personal development.

Counselling has helped me in the past. I believe counselling is for everyone. I am interested in self development and improvement and personally embrace the techniques I endorse.
