Some days life can just feel too hard and overwhelming and perhaps things that were once manageable start to become really difficult. It can be like ploughing through treacle, never really achieving what you want to, struggling to feel joy and happiness. Yet, at the same time, others around you seem to be managing just fine. Even if you are surrounded by family and friends, it’s not always easy to share how you really feel and this can sometimes leave you feeling confused as to what to do. You may feel isolated or lonely. If these are feelings you experience then you are not alone. 1 in 4 people will struggle with their mental health and well-being every year, especially with anxiety, depression or grief. I can offer you a unique space where there is the freedom and the support to really look at and understand what’s going on for you. Here, there is no judgement, you will receive care, kindness and a genuine commitment from me to support you in a positive way with your well-being. It is important to me that we find a way of working together that feels right for you, one that you feel comfortable with. I draw on a person-centred approach to counselling as valuing and understanding you and your experience is really important to me as well as to the counselling process.
If you decide that counselling with me is something that interests you or you would like to find out more about it, then please contact me. It would be a privilege to work along-side you and be a part of your counselling journey.
