As a Holistic Counsellor I look at the entirety of the client. Ultimately, focusing on the client and not just on their diagnosis or their symptoms.

Taking the first step towards counselling is often the most difficult one and my aim is to make this process as comfortable as possible, I offer a confidential, empathetic and non-judgemental service, creating a valuable opportunity for you to share your thoughts and feelings in a supportive environment. My counselling office is based in Cookstown, Mid-Ulster, telephone or online counselling can be accessed locally or UK wide.

Understanding that your thoughts and feeling are very valid, you are not alone and that you DO matter is a very important step in the counselling process.

It is very easy to get lost or overwhelmed with the demands that life imposes on us. Perhaps you just need some guidance or support, or a place to fully explore a traumatic event or past trauma.

There is no issue too big or too small to bring to counselling.

I can help to support you, by working towards positive changes. This will allow you to have a deeper understanding of who you are and why you do the things you do,

I have supported adults and young people through a diverse range of issues. Anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, trauma, addiction, bereavement, self-esteem, lack of motivation, anger, domestic abuse and many others.

Counselling is a talking therapy which is led by you. You decide how to use the therapy space and what you feel is most important to talk about during each session.

Counselling is hugely beneficial as a preventative measure and to help maintain positive mental and emotional well-being, it will help you gain control from the things that are preventing you from moving forward and give you the tools to bring back a better balance to your life through understanding and awareness.

Finding a therapist you are truly comfortable with helps to ensure a successful therapeutic relationship. Whether, this is your first time or a returning client it can still be a daunting process, if you are still unsure if this is right for you, I will be happy to discuss any concerns during a short phone call.

I work ethically within the BACP framework.
I follow GDPR guidelines
I also have experience in both the private and voluntary sector.

Mental health is so important, makes yours a priority.
