My name is Manisha Gosar and I am a fully qualified Counsellor / Psychotherapist. I am a registered member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), Practitioner Member with COSCA (Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland), and an Accredited member of The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
I have a wide range of experience working with adults, university and college students, and people of all ages, genders, and ethnic backgrounds. My counselling experience includes my work with The University of Strathclyde, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Anxiety UK, REACH Community Centre, Glasgow Cognitive Therapy Centre and Samaritans
I am also currently studying for a Diploma in Grief and Bereavement counselling to gain further knowledge for my practice; as well as having completed CPD in various areas such as trauma, suicide, anxiety, grief and ADHD.
I keep myself regularly updated with my knowledge by attending a range of CPD's. I have also completed the following qualifications:
- Level 7 Certificate in COSCA Counselling Studies
- Level 11 Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- Diploma in Mindfulness
- ASIST training (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training)
As part of continued improvement, I am pursuing a Diploma in Grief and Bereavement Counselling.
