My main counselling approach is person centred and my training enables me to use a range of techniques to support and guide clients on a journey of self-exploration in a safe space where you can be talk and be heard without fear of judgement. I work empathically with my clients, with the aim of enabling them to achieve their goals and fulfil their potential. I am passionate about supporting people to achieve healthy relationships, support in navigating the challenges of step/blended families and guiding you on a journey of self-exploration with any other difficulties you may be experiencing.

I am a qualified Mediator and have over 25 years’ experience as a Human Resources
Professional, supporting individuals with workplace and career issues. I have an in depth understanding of the impact that difficult working relationships and workplace pressure can have on your personal life, as well as the difficulties that personal problems can have on your work life and your emotional wellbeing.
I have experience of supporting stepmothers with issues such as jealousy, navigating not having those 'firsts' , dealing with a high conflict ex, 'second wife syndrome', bonding with stepchildren and a number of issues, specific to being a stepmother.

I also support parents struggling following a relationship breakdown and their children going between 2 homes and the challenges that come with that. I can provide insight and support on how to cope with your feelings.

Coparenting comes with challenges and I am able to guide and support you as you navigate this new chapter of your life. As a qualified mediator, I am skilled in helping parents focus on the importance of a healthy coparent relationship and how best to achieve that.

Healthy relationships are equal, respectful and provide stability for families. I work with individuals and couples, providing professional unbiased and non-judgemental support . You may not be in a relationship, but would like support following the end of a relationship or perhaps trying to work out your feelings. I support individuals on both sides of infidelity and cheating, with no judgement.

I am experienced in supporting and understand clients as the OW/OM/AP and the feelings that come with it.

As a black counsellor, I have an in depth understanding of the unique challenges that black individuals and communities face. I bring a culturally sensitive and empathetic approach to my practice, creating a safe and supportive space for black clients to explore their feelings and experiences.

My personal and professional experiences have given me insight into the issues of race, culture, relationships, interracial relationships and mental health, allowing me to work collaboratively with black clients to address their concerns and achieve their goals.

I believe that representation matters in accessing counselling services and am committed to advocating for the needs of black individuals on their therapeutic journey.
